Our Mission
As a not-for-profit initiative, Howden Community Stables is here to remove barriers to the saddle. We firmly believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the life-changing bond between horse and rider.
By offering subsidised Riding for the Disabled (RDA) and Facilitated Learning sessions, we ensure that specialised equine support is a community reality, not a luxury.

Our Mission
Empowering Every Rider through Equine Partnerships. Our mission is to foster a safe, nurturing environment where the unique connection between horse and human serves as a catalyst for growth.
By focusing on therapeutic horsemanship and educational excellence, we aim to enhance the physical and emotional wellbeing of our participants.
We strive to create a community where achievement is measured by personal progress, and where every individual is supported to discover their own rhythm and strength in the saddle.

Our Vision
Unlocking Potential through the Power of the Horse.
Our vision is to be a leading inclusive hub where the unique bond between horse and human serves as a bridge to lifelong independence and emotional wellbeing.

Can you help us?
We are looking for adults who can spare a few hours to volunteer in our RDA sessions, helping riders enjoy their sessions safely.

We are also looking to fund raise to improve our accessibility. We need things like an accessible toilet, step free access and hoist facilities.
If you think you or a local business can help, please feel free to drop us a message!
